Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of Trinity is our dedication to following the commands of Jesus Christ. Here are some of the area’s that are available to serve:

Ushers/Communion Stewards

The usher team at fills an important role. They are involved in directing attendees to their seats, ensuring the safety of the building during services, guiding traffic, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, unlocking doors, locking doors, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free.

Communion stewards help with the serving of the elements in order to help maintain an air of worship during this symbolic act that was ordained for the continual remembrance of the sacrifice of the death of Christ, and of the benefits which we thereby receive. The bread which in the Lord’s Supper is broken, given, and eaten, is meant to remind us of Christ’s body given on the cross for our sins. The wine which is poured out and received, is meant to remind us of Christ’s blood shed on the cross for our sins.

Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. We also maintain an active Facebook page for additional church communication

Prayer Warriors

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. We area body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Wednesday morning at 9:00 a.m.  a team of volunteers is praying for the ministry of the Word. These volunteers also pray for their pastor, a list of church members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs.

Children’s Church

This special time gives kids more opportunity for interaction and learning in a context and manner that may be better suited to their age and learning styles. Our friendly children’s church volunteers have an endless stream of creativity–ranging from puppet shows, to games, to object lessons.

Mission Outreach

The United Methodist Women of Trinity have several mission projects during the year, from helping needy school age children through the Bac Pac ministry and Operation Shoe Box,  ministry to Native American Indians and special projects in conjunction with UMCOR in times of disasters in our country and world wide.

The Trinity Trotters helps with Toys for Tots and the men of the church are willing to help when called upon. Mission outreach begins at home, in our local community and extends world wide through various United Methodist programs.

We are honored to be able to be of help to those in need.

There are many area’s in our church that need volunteers from time to time.  Everyone is invited to participate and share their talents as God leads them.
